Which Looney Tunes character was your favorite growing up?
Mine was Marvin the Martian hands down. Who’s fortunately featured in the eight-coin 1/2 oz silver subscription… Though I personally like my coins 100+ years old with the only coloring coming from toning – hah!

Good luck guys! And big thanks to the Royal Canadian Mint for hooking us up with the giveaway today. It was just the prompt I needed to start blogging more actively again!
UPDATE: Giveaway now over… Congrats to winner Jean Pierre!
———-
Giveaway will run 1 week and end next Wednesday, May 20th @ Midnight. I’ll choose the winner randomly via Random.org so everyone gets a fair chance
Wile E. Coyote – He never won so you had to cheer for him or at least watch the train wreck
I say, I say Foghorn Leghorn!
The Tazmanian Devil. I just related to him as a little guy.
Bugs Bunny….And That’s All folks!
I’d love to win!==my favorite character has always been tweety!
My favorite Looney Tunes character is Tasmanian Devil all the way.
Marvin the Martian for sure!
My favorite Looney Tunes character is Sylvester the cat – but in reality – I love them all!
The roadrunner is my favorite!
Gossamar, that big hairy monster.
My favourite character is Yosemite Sam.
My favorite looney toon character was Bugs Bunny, just because I remember him the most. Always chomping on that carrot and outsmarting Elmer Fudd. Loved the movie Space Jam. And one of my friends’ nicknames for me is Bugs, but I’ve never gotten the story why or how it started…..
HAH! Great movie :)
Pepe le Peu was my all-time favorite. The poor love-sick guy, Falling in love with every pretty face…. Or was it that female skunks were so scarce? *grin*
My favorite by far was Pepe le Pew…what a rascal!
It’s always been Bugs Bunny for me. He was sarcastic and witty and I always admired that. Although trying to emulate that wasn’t necessarily the best life choice…
Watched me quite a bit of Daffy but liked them all. Miss Saturday morning cartoons.
TAZ!
The Roadrunner – mainly because I’m New Mexican and that was our state bird.
Wiel E Coyote because he never gave up
Roadrunner!!! Meep meep
I gotta go with Fog Horn Leg Horn. Boy… I say Boy!
OH yeah! haha… that guy was hilarious. Good one.
Marvin the Martian of course! And I could do his voice which was fun!
I grew up watching Looney Toones every week with my dad and we remain big fans – the theme song is my cell ringtone. Our favorite is a toss up between Foghorn Leghorn and Yosemite Sam!
Mine was Tweety Bird! “I tought I taw a pooty cat”
Speedy Gonzales
OMG how to pick just one fave?!? I guess it’d have to be Bugs though…he was just too cool ;)
bugs bunny!
Daffy Duck!
When I was a kid, I actually preferred Tiny Toons to Looney Toons; same thing, right? Buster Bunny was my favorite, probably because I was obsessed with the color blue.
Oh man, forgot about all those guys… Tiny Toons were def. awesome.
Tweety is my favorite!
Bugs Bunny for the win…. “What’s up doc?” just before he made your life hell :)
My favorite was Taz.
Gotta love Wile E. Coyote’s antics!
Speedy Gonzales! He is still my fav ;)
tweety was my favorite, always smarter than everyone else around.
Definitely Bugs and the gremlin in the Falling Hare film. I had it on VHS when i was a kid and can’t remember how many times i’ve watched it.
“roadrunner the coyotes after you” will now be playing in my head all day long thanks Roadrunner is my fav
Bugs bunny was my favorite.
Congrats Jean Pierre – you won! I’ll be emailing you soon. Congrats :)
Road runner..beep beep
Wiley Coyote was definitely my favorite. Taught me to never give up ;)
Have to pick Daffy Duck as my favorite. He could play both sides of the coin (<—see what I did there ;) ) so well. Loved him both against Elmer and Bugs.
Good one ;)
Defintely Daffy – always cheering for the underdog/duck here!
Bugs Bunny hands down. Man kept the Looney Tunes together!
My favourite was Elmer Fudd. He was a cranky, myopic old geezer… which is exactly what I’ve turned into! Plus, I hate wabbits!
hah!
Road Runner. He not only always got away but he rubbed that coyote’s nose in it.
Pepe le pew for me.
These coins look awesome but too overpriced for me, the canadian wildlife are still my favourites, also supercool to see some rcm stuff featured!
Pepe le Pew. I mean, come on, an amorous skunk? He rocked!
Tweetie Bird of course! I don’t remember any specific reason for it, but I had shirts with Tweetie on it, so you know I was a big fan!
Also, I LOVE coins! As a 24 year old, it seems a little strange to most people I talk to, but I wish I had enough money to get a solid coin collection going. I have a few mint sets, but nothing rare or really awesome. My grandpa had a lot of old coins, but I’m having a hard time convincing my uncles that it would be a good idea for me to inherit his collection haha
I’m with you, girl! Every famous coin collector started out young and worked their way up though. Just like with personal finance, we all gotta start somewhere! :)
Bugs Bunny. He’s my hero is so many ways.
My favorite was Yosemite Sam.
I loved Road Runner. He always outwitted and out ran Wile E. Coyote even though nature should have dictated otherwise. Plus he made a great noise.
So many to choose from! I’d have to go with Taz, the Tazmanian Devil. I remember loving his cartoons, growing up.
Road Runner was my fave! Me Me.
Bugs Bunny
I would have to be Daffy Duck. For obvious reasons… his speech impediment, wonderful singing voice and proper use of grammar. ;-) Who doesn’t like a spitting duck?!?!
Bugs Bunny! He was a boss!
I was a big Buggs Bunney Fan growing up. I had the stuffed version and could often be heard quoting him with, “What’s up doc?” I love these whimsical coins the canadian mint puts out!
Marvin the Martian. I even have the boxer shorts to prove it.
hah! I used to have some too!
Tweety is my favorite, always so sweet and innocent
Hands down and nose shut it was Mr. Pepe Le Pew!
Pepé Le Pew!
Bugs Bunny! Thanks for the giveaway.
My favorite old school looney tunes character has to be
Foghorn Leghorn – the huge good ole’ boy of a rooster. If I think really hard I can still hear him humming “Camptown races”.
Tweety was my favorite growing up. I miss Saturday morning cartoons now!
That little nerdy bird friend of Foghorn Leghorn that does all of the calculations with pencil and paper.
Henery Hawk! He was the little guy that hung out with Foghorn Leghorn!
My favorite is Tweety!
Daffy Duck! Loved it when he would suddenly go freak out and go daffy.
My favorite is Speedy Gonzales. Every time I hear “andale, andale” I think of that character.
***GIVEAWAY NOW OVER***
The lucky winner is Jean Pierre – congrats! And thanks for participating everyone. Was fun to see all your answers :) We’ll try to do another giveaway in the near future…
Foghorn Leghorn hands down.
He played that dog as a fool so many times and he kept it real explaining what he was gonna do beforehand ha.
That just brought back so much nostalgia thinking about this. Thank you.
